The Aletai meteorite was a massive iron meteoroid that broke apart when it entered Earth's atmosphere and spread fragments across China. The meteor was estimated to weigh up to 100 tons and created a strewn field that was about 500 kilometers long. The fragments range in size from 28 tons to smaller pieces, and some are named after nearby cities. The meteor's low trajectory through the atmosphere is thought to be the reason for the large strewn field. They are a catalyst to spiritual awakening and at the same time they are grounding and protective of the emotional body.
